60ft fossil reveals whale within a whale then eaten by shark

FOSSIL iPhone 5/5S Case Polka Dots

A 40-million-year-old whale Fossil iPhone case has been discovered in Egypt.

The remains of the 60ft Basilosaurus were found in Wadi al-Hitan, agree to as the Valley of Whales.

That FOSSIL iPhone 5 was uncovered by excellent Egyptian research team, which also available in the remains of a smaller whale inside the larger one.

The smaller whale could have been a foetus, but scientists are not ruling out the idea that definitely eaten.

Wadi al-Hitan is a Unesco Place Heritage Site, where fossils having to do with giant whales have sat in millions of years.

Atlas Obscura press releases that it was first discovered by whenever in 1902, and there has simply been 10 fossilised whales bought in the area.

Fossils of crocodiles to turtles have also been found at the site.

That Daily Mail reports that Doctor Khaled Fahmy, Minister of Condition, confirmed the 60ft-long Basilosaurus fossil has been found, including the small spinal vertebrae in the tail.

That makes it the only do skeleton of the creature ever can be found in the world.

According to Wikipedia, Basilosaurus could be genus of early whale which usually lived 40 to 34 shades years ago in the late Eocene.

The first fossil was discovered in the United States and was believed to be some sort of reptile, hence a suffix "saurus", but it was further along found to be a marine mammal.
